As the sun goes down in Inglewood, the heels get higher, the wigs get bigger, and Glam on Tap presented by UCalgary Alumni takes over the block.
After packing the patio last year, Cold Garden is making considerably more room for the fabulous. This year’s Sunset Block Party spills into Gopher Park with drag, live performance, music, DJs and the kind of gloriously oversized energy that does not fit neatly inside a brewery.
Expect Calgary favourites, national talent, vendors, food trucks, Cold Garden bevies and a crowd with absolutely no intention of easing quietly into Saturday night.
And when the outdoor party wraps, we’re not done. The night moves inside the Cold Garden taproom for the Glam on Tap Afterparty, where the lights go down, the production goes up and the dance floor takes over.
Come early. Stay late. Bring your flyest fit, a pocketful of fivers and your best intentions for tomorrow morning. Rain or shine, baybay.
The celebration doesn’t end when the performances do.
Starting at 9:00 PM, the party moves inside the Cold Garden taproom and keeps going until 1:30 AM.
Cold Garden goes full club mode for the night, with bigger production, DJs, a packed dance floor and absolutely no reason to call it early.
You may even spot a few familiar faces from the stage sticking around once the performances wrap. No promises. Just excellent odds of the night getting considerably less responsible.

Friday’s scheduled programming is only one part of the weekend. Inglewood businesses will also be serving up Pride features, food, drinks, shopping, art, and other neighbourhood happenings throughout Back to the Streets.
